Hello from Texas!

My third week as a visiting scholar in Texas A&M is nearly finished and I can't believe how time has passed so quickly.

My journey was full of uncertainty and excitement as the day before my flight I still didn't have my visa, and I wasn't sure if I'm going to get it on time or not. Well, in the end I did and here I am, after sobbing my way from London to Houston. It's funny to think now how I was trying to keep myself together when dealing with the staff at the airport so that I wouldn't worry them. Humans, we are funny creatures.

After arriving here, however, everything has been just fine and I am enjoying every moment. I will be here for two months, March and April, and I am really excited about the opportunity this experience has to offer, hoping that during these two months my thinking will develop into another level. Most of all I am excited about working together with Dr. Kevin Barge. I have some interesting data from collaborating with one management team, which will serve as the starting point of developing my thinking around communication competence, reflexivity and relational practices.

I hope to be able to share more stuff more often here as well.
